Special Guest: My Miata Harley!

Welcome to a special guest episode, starring my 1990 Mazda Miata, Harley! From the time that I purchased her, the windows never worked, nor did the AC, and I’m not messing with that, so the windows had to be fixed! I found out the cables had snapped inside due to a previous improper speaker installation, so it was off to the races as I raced the rain (or suffer the consequence of no AC with the windows propped back up) to complete the job at hand.

Ebay Special Exhaust

This is a quick and dirty shakedown of a cheap ebay exhaust swap. While we were able to get the job done, I can’t recommend doing this on your own, as we ended up having to weld on the catalytic converter, since this was unfortunately a liiiiiiitle less “plug and play” as advertised.  Regardless, I hope it can shed light on the general swap process in case you’ve picked up a more reputable brand!

Upper and Lower Radiator Hose Replacement

In all things automotive, frustrations will arise.  I’m happy to show the struggles along the way, as anyone watching is likely not a professional either! With a little perseverance though, we’ll see it through! In this video, I troubleshoot some cooling issues I’m having, and updating ancient hoses that were long overdue for a transplant. I hope this helps, enjoy!

Honda Del Sol Vehicle Speed Sensor Replacement

Hey Everyone, I’m going live with the first video I’ve created that goes over the process of replacing your “Vehicle Speed Sensor” in order to get your speedometer working properly.  This will also create smoother shifts for your transmission if you also have an automatic, as it will allow the computer to communicate with the transmission to hit the desired shift points. Since replacing my VSS, the speedometer and odometer have full functionality, and I’m pleased that ride quality has improved due to the aforementioned improved transmission feel.
