In all things automotive, frustrations will arise. I’m happy to show the struggles along the way, as anyone watching is likely not a professional either! With a little perseverance though, we’ll see it through! In this video, I troubleshoot some cooling issues I’m having, and updating ancient hoses that were long overdue for a transplant. I hope this helps, enjoy!
Watched you sensor replacement I think I can do it.All parts are OEM for 97_Delsol should I try to get OEM and get both parts?Thank you 68 year old female only owner of my 5 speed delight.
Hey Donna! Thanks for watching, and I’m glad I could help you feel confident in the repair! I will say, the sensor was much easier to replace, as it was less of a tight squeeze along with less of a struggle to get the parts off and back on (the magic of editing, ha!) That said, if you have plenty of time like I did, I think you can do it too! I am a sucker for parts from rockauto.com, but I try and replace things as cheaply as possible. If you have the funds to keep it totally stock, and you would like to go that route, it is certainly a great option! (This is all assuming you are talking about the upper and lower radiator hose replacement, if you’re just talking about the sensor, it’ll be a breeze for you!)
P.S.-I love that you are rocking the car as the original owner, I so wish I had gotten my hands on my car first, but it certainly makes for an adventure worth never letting go of!
